Noida, India — December 7, 2010 — QA InfoTech, a 400-person independent quality assurance and software testing firm with five testing Centers of Excellence in the United States and India, today announced that Debra Hansen has joined its leadership team as CEO, QA InfoTech Inc. Hansen will drive the company's plans to capitalize on opportunities for international growth. She was hired in response to the significant growth of QA InfoTech business in North America and will work closely with QA InfoTech Worldwide founder and CEO, Mukesh Sharma, and the rest of the leadership team, to take the company to the next level. Her focus at QA InfoTech is on infrastructure, strategic business partnerships and fiscal operations. Hansen, who brings extensive experience in all facets of building and running organizations, is based in Denver, Colorado.

Prior to joining QA InfoTech, Hansen worked at Quark Inc., a leading provider of publishing software and solutions, for 13 years. She started her journey at Quark as IT Project Manager and Director, Business Systems. As Quark expanded internationally, she was promoted to U.S. Controller and ultimately became the Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, she was responsible for IT, finance, treasury and accounting worldwide. Later, she established Quark’s first sales force and was named Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Services. In that role, she was responsible for all of Quark's enterprise sales, professional services, system integration, and custom development. Hansen traveled extensively to all of Quark’s operations and to its customers around the world.

In her last few years working for Quark, Hansen was Chief Operating Officer for Rostam Holdings, the family investment office of Quark owners. In this role, she built and managed organizational infrastructure including investment management, IT, human resources, accounting and facilities/property management. She was also a board member for Rostam Investment Committee and Quark Foundation. Most recently, she worked as Director of Finance and IT at the non-profit Gill Foundation/Gill Action Fund. Hansen has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL, and has undergraduate degrees in music and accounting.
